Adjusting to university life
Leaving home or your home country for the first time can be a daunting experience. Helping university students with their mental health and adjustment problems is a big focus of our clinic.
We see students from all the UK universities as well as students on study abroad programmes, for example with American colleges in London, or attached to British universities for semesters of study. Many of our doctors are or have been tutors to students over the years.
We work with new emergent psychological problems including depression, anxiety, ADHD and attentional problems, relationship difficulties, and adjustment to life in London, and problems emerging from traumatic experiences.
We also can manage established mental health problems for example supervising and providing medication and psychotherapy, taking over from your current psychiatrist or psychologist outside of London.
Staff
We have an expert team of Consultant Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists and Psychotherapists who are well versed in helping manage challenges when adjusting to University life.
Contact and Appointments
If you are seeking an appointment with a psychiatrist, you should discuss this first with your GP to obtain a referral. Referrals are also accepted from clinical psychologists and counsellors.
Once you have your referral, please do contact us via our Enquiry Form and one of our team will be in touch without delay.
Overseas referrals are warmly welcomed. We do also see individuals without a family doctor (GP), and we can help you find a private or NHS family doctor.
