Testimonials

I have been seeing Dr McMullen for over two years - back in 2023 our appointments were monthly, but since mid 2024 we have had quarterly check-ins. I truly believe I am as settled, content and happy with life as I am now thanks to Dr McMullen. I couldn't have asked for a kinder, more proactive and professional clinician, Dr McMullen has given me consistently excellent care. She is always thoughtful and creates a relaxed environment for me. My understanding of myself in relation to my PTSD, depression and anxiety went from a place of constant self-hatred and frustration to approaching the ups and downs in my life with a kinder, more compassionate approach thanks to Dr McMullen's expert advice. She is incredibly patient and I am beyond grateful to have been helped out of such a dark time in my life by her.

Last summer, while studying abroad in London, I had the privilege of being treated at your clinic. It was my first time seeking mental health care, something I had tiptoed around for too long. It was all very new and stigmatized for me, a construct if anything. I came to you at a time when I felt like an outsider in every possible sense. I was under the care of Dr Isabel McMullen. From the very first meeting, she struck me as something close to sunshine in human form: warm, kind, impossibly patient, and free of judgment. If she is still with you, you are lucky beyond words to have her. Every moving part of the machine that is your office, every voice on the phone, every hand that processed paperwork, every person who made room for me in their day, was unfailingly gracious and accommodating. You didn’t just make the process digestible; you made it human, comforting, compassionate, and possible. I’m writing, really, just to say thank you. Thank you for steadying me when I could barely find my feet. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you. Your work left an indelible mark. The colours of the world seem a little brighter now, and that in large part has to do with the hope you gave me. You helped me gather the courage to find my way back to myself. Thank you, thank you, thank you. For everything you do. For the quiet lives you shape. For saving mine.

Upon my first meeting with Dr. McMullen, I found that she was just wonderful...She created a warm environment for me to share my story, simply listening and chiming in when she had clarifying questions. I could feel how deeply she cared for my well being and how hard she tried to make our time together feel safe and welcoming... In short, Sloane Court has been nothing short of amazing, and I appreciate all of their efforts to ensure I received proper medical and mental health care to make the most of my time abroad. Thank you!
