Dr Dorothea Bindman
MBChB, MRCP, MRCPsych, MSc
Dr Bindman is a Neuropsychiatrist based in London, with over 10 years of experience in diagnosing and treating complex neurological and psychiatric disorders. Specialising in the intricate relationship between the mind and brain, she has a particular focus on mood and anxiety disorders in people with neurological disorders such as Epilepsy, Tourette’s syndrome, ADHD and Functional Neurological Disorder.
Dr Bindman’s NHS practice as a Consultant Neuropsychiatrist is based at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery in London, where she works as part of a multidisciplinary team including neurologists, neurosurgeons and neuropsychologists to deliver tailored, evidence-based care. In addition to her clinical work, Dr Bindman is involved in several ongoing research projects at the Institute of Neurology at University College, London. Through her position on the Neuropsychiatry Faculty Committee of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, she has an active role in training the next generation of neuropsychiatrists.
Her approach is characterised by the guiding principles of compassionate patient care and cutting-edge treatment, ensuring that each patient’s unique needs are comprehensively addressed.
