A private London clinic integrating psychiatry and psychology

Losing control over alcohol and drug use

Alcohol or drugs are used to relax, but can be harmful when used in excess.

Alcohol dependence is a condition evaluated and managed both at the clinic and with colleagues in specialist units, community based organisations such as Alcoholics Anonymous, and at community and inpatient treatment centres. We have particular expertise in the area of detoxification from alcohol dependence and a keen clinical interest in advising and managing individuals finding themselves locked into habitual drinking to ward off unpleasant withdrawal symptoms.

The clinic routinely works with individuals who use drugs but does not have a specialist drug / addictions treatment programme, and does not provide opiate substition treatment.

Staff

We have an expert team of Consultant Psychiatrists, and Clinical Psychologists who are well versed in helping manage challenges relating to alcohol and substance misuse.

Contact and Appointments

If you are seeking an appointment with a psychiatrist, you should discuss this first with your GP to obtain a referral. Referrals are also accepted from clinical psychologists and counsellors.

Once you have your referral, please do contact us via our Enquiry Form and one of our team will be in touch without delay.

Overseas referrals are warmly welcomed. We do also see individuals without a family doctor (GP), and we can help you find a private or NHS family doctor.
