While we do not treat children and adolescents directly, we can help you manage the many stresses involved with raising your family.
Parenting is immensely rewarding but can also bring substantial emotional and mental challenges. Many parents struggle with doubts about their parenting abilities, experience difficulties setting boundaries, or feel overwhelmed by the demands of family life.
At Sloane Court Clinic, we offer supportive, tailored care to help parents navigate these challenges with confidence and calm.
Our Consultant Psychiatrists, Clinical & Counselling Psychologists and Psychotherapists specialise in supporting parents, particularly in managing stressors related to parenting. We offer help with various issues, including communication breakdowns, conflicts within the family, and balancing work-life responsibilities. For parents facing complex family dynamics, such as divorce, financial strain, or the impact of an illness, we provide practical strategies to help restore harmony and understanding.
Our therapeutic approach may include individual therapy to build parenting confidence, family therapy to improve communication, or couples therapy to strengthen the parental partnership. We aim to create a supportive, non-judgemental environment where parents can explore their concerns openly, develop tailored coping strategies, and foster healthier family relationships.
Parenting challenges can feel isolating, but you don’t have to face them alone.
At Sloane Court Clinic, we’re committed to helping you and your family find balance and joy together. Our team is here to provide expert guidance and support as you work through the complexities of parenting.
Staff
We have an expert team of Consultant Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists and Psychotherapists who are well versed in helping manage challenges in parenting to children of all ages, including adult children.
Contact and Appointments
If you are seeking an appointment with a psychiatrist, you should discuss this first with your GP to obtain a referral. Referrals are also accepted from clinical psychologists and counsellors.
Once you have your referral, please do contact us via our Enquiry Form and one of our team will be in touch without delay.
Overseas referrals are warmly welcomed. We do also see individuals without a family doctor (GP), and we can help you find a private or NHS family doctor.
