Where can loved ones find support whilst caring for someone with dementia?
Caring for a loved one with dementia can be a huge challenge - emotionally, physically, energetically and - sometimes - financially.
However with an estimated 1 million people currently living with the diagnosis in the UK, there is also a strong network of charity and community-based support options specifically designed for carers. Old Age Specialist Psychiatrist Dr Ruth Cairns talks us through the help that is available, as well as gives her advice on practical aspects carers might consider.
