She taught medical students at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and was tutor to final year medical students at King’s College Hospital. She was a Research Fellow and Clinical Lecturer at the Maudsley Hospital and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN) where she trained junior psychiatrists and was tutor to the Visiting Overseas Clinical Associates. She was lecturer on the MRCPsych and MSc Courses at the Maudsley/ IoPPN; organised the weekly academic meetings at the department of psychological medicine at King’s College Hospital and was a member of the Examiner’s Committee at the IoPPN where she set and marked the Examination for the Board Certification in Psychiatry.
Her work first as a Research Fellow and then as Clinical Lecturer on the Affective Disorders unit was the start of a long-term interest in the aetiology and management of mood disorders. An example of this is her work on Dystonia, which can be found here.
