Dilemmas over psychiatric medication
Many people come to see us to discuss whether they should continue, change or stop their psychiatric medication.
We can advise on this for most mental health issues and special situations such as pregnancy.
We have a strong team of clinical psychologists and can advise as to how psychological treatment or psychotherapy can augment or even replace pharmacological treatment. We draw on evidence-based resources, our clinical practice, and involvement in research.
Amongst our psychiatrists are leading authorities on medication issues in psychiatry and most have contributed to the medical literature on this subject.
We have an expert team of Consultant Psychiatrists and Clinical Psychologists who are well versed in helping manage challenges in medication management.
Contact and Appointments
If you are seeking an appointment with a psychiatrist, you should discuss this first with your GP to obtain a referral. Referrals are also accepted from clinical psychologists and counsellors.
Once you have your referral, please do contact us via our Enquiry Form and one of our team will be in touch without delay.
Overseas referrals are warmly welcomed. We do also see individuals without a family doctor (GP), and we can help you find a private or NHS family doctor.
