Psychological difficulties can occur as a consequence of a range of situations. These may be long-term, for example emerging from childhood experience, or short-term, for example emerging from a recent life event such as a bereavement. We have tried to detail some situations that can lead to emotional issues that we regularly see in the clinic. These are by no means the only situations, but may be a helpful pointer to some of the work we do. We hope this is useful to orient you in finding help.
